Sometimes unknown to many
Smiles and happiness we show
Phantom fear, trials, and failures
But still in God we trust
Treacherously the journey be
Loopholes and traps they set
Crooked path He straightens
And yet in God we trust
Share between we lack
And yet love we duck
Hoping and yet hopeless
All in All God we trust
Twill-night we see approach
Dread of sleepless night reproach
Alone in bed we crawl
Talking to the God we trust
Toss and turn we do
Dreams and hopes redone
Tired, filled with sleep we wake
Journey we continue with the God we trust.
Amen
