Resting in God's Love

(Hebrews 4:9-11 NKJV) There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. {10} For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. {11} Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

I believe that the key to entering into this rest is to know God, when you know God you trust God. Because when you know God you know His compassion for you, and you have faith (trust) in God because of it. Faith is the key to entering into the rest of God. The more faith the more trust the more rest.  

(Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Only by faith can you come to God because you must believe He exists, and that He has compassion (love) for you. Without faith (trust) you reject Him since God is love you also reject His love.
