It is By the Spirit

Then [God] said to me, “… these bones represent the people of Israel. … I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel…. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the LORD has spoken!’”

… I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own land from the places where they have been scattered. I will unify them into one nation on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule them all; no longer will they be divided into two nations or into two kingdoms. They will never again pollute themselves with their idols and vile images and rebellion, for I will save them from their sinful backsliding. I will cleanse them. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 37:11-23)

It is by the spirit that we get promotion, works, wealth.

Teach yourself to linger in the spirit

"I THIRST" THE CISTERNS HOLD NO WATER

Many preachers have gathered people for themselves with the promise that they are taking the congregation to the promised land. It sadden me as I visit many churches to listen to how thirsty the LORD'S people are and the men of cloth provide them with no water the servants, few have the living water that is suppose to flow from them. A lot of churches have no water and yet they keep the LORD'S children camped somewhere and the keep telling them not to complain instead of teaching the people how to ask for water rather than testing the Lord. But as much as the children of Israel knew not how to ask for water (Just as we know not how to pray) when the children of Israel asked for water their priest then, Moses provided for them water thr the Lord.

Exodus 17:1-6
Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel journeyed by stages from the wilderness of Sin, according to the command of the LORD, and camped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink. Therefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water that we may drink " And Moses said to them, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD?" But the people thirsted there for water; and they grumbled against Moses and said, "Why, now, have you brought us up from Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?

Time and again it has been the congregation asking for water to drink and thro the old testament till we reach the new testament and we find the high priest requesting for water to drink, now that is something new...

John 4:7-14
There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink." For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Therefore the Samaritan woman said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman?"

The lady did give Jesus some water to drink and Jesus also gave thy lady the living water and she should not thirst any more.

The next time Jesus thirsted, it was when he finished his work on the land, but what was he given when he thirsted?

John 19:28 - 29
Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips.

Am asking the question, Jesus is requesting for water from you will you give him vinegar or what will you give
